Day of Ash: Thursday Tricks

Got out onto the road a bit earlier today, which means we got to the office sooner. As it’s really cold, we rush in and put his pack in at the security desk. While doing so, Ash hears the papers hit the sidewalk outside. So we head out so he can perform his one of his tricks for the day, getting and bringing the papers in for the security officer. Guess that means I freeze a little bit more than expected.

After that, I handed him the water bottle and up to the kitchenette we go. He actually carried it the whole way, and handed it to me when we got next to the water cooler. Filled the bottle, and he carried it all the way to the desk. A first actually, as normally he carries what I get out of the vending machine for myself.

The rest of the morning was as expected. Went to the team meeting, this time in the bosses office, and Ash laid down next to me while we all went over our priorities for the day.

At lunch, I handed him his water bottle and we started to head out. Yet, I had to use the bathroom myself.

We went into the bathroom, and told Ash to stay, right next to the urinal I am going to use. He stood there, with out moving a single paw, even with the lunch rush break moving around him. Held his water bottle the whole time, and even wagged his tail because he knew he was doing good.

He even carried it all the way out to the car even, where I set it on the trunk while I take him to his potty area.

That afternoon, we had to rush to an emergency meeting, and I dropped my college ruled note book again. Ash literally jumped on it so my team mate wouldn’t pick it up, and then he pawed at it until he could get his mouth on it. Picked it up, and carried it to the meeting for me. Handing it to me after I sat down.

At the end of the day, as it was warm, I didn’t want to wear my hat. As we are walking to the elevators, Ash takes it out of my hand and carries it.

Day of Ash: Thursday's Tricks

As we have a 2 hours, 120 mile commute one way, we had to stop for gas again.

As you can see, that earned me the look of “Really?” from him. As which point he got up, came over, and zapped me.

When we got home, Ash noticed right away that he could see into the puppy area now. So he ended up standing just like this for at least an hour before we all said it was bed time.

He didn’t get to actually interact with a puppy though, as today was “chemical day” as well in order to make sure he doesn’t pick anything up in our adventures. He should be able to play with puppies again on Saturday.
