Shakeup and Current Events of Z

Hosting Shift

So I am still hosted at the same place, but I let my craftbrew domain go, which was the primary on the hosting package. That broke everything until I was able to move things around.

As you can see, by reading this, I have finally gotten around to doing that.

Z on Twitch

I have been streaming on Twitch for awhile now over at https://twitch.tv/thezolon . I am even affiliated at this time.

As my purpose is community engagement and growth, I also still stream a bunch on other people’s stream, and I have been helping out Brewminate with their weekday nightly history and news stream as well.

Please go give Brewminate a follow, even if it isn’t maker focused.

Z Drones

I am still flying UAVs often, and my passion for the hobby has grown. To the point I am now working on getting my Part 107 so I can start producing some videos without worry of the FAA trying to say I am being a commercial entity. Of course, inside buildings the FAA doesn’t matter, but I am often flying outside.

FPV is still my primary on that, but I am saving up to get a camera drone as well. One of the things I want to learn is how to use the drone to make 3d mapping of property.

Z Maker

Oh yeah, I am still in the maker community, as I already made obvious with the Z on Twitch part of this post. 3D printing is still the primary, but this month we will be moving the t-shirt/customs shop stuff into the main house, which will open that back up as well.

Can’t wait to get my heatpress in here and make some things with it again.

What is next?

That is a good question. We are currently saving up to build a new house of some form, including a possible middle-tier place (tiny home or something) to move into while we build. The house we are in now is having some major issues that possibly can be fixed, but is also possibly not worth the money to fix.

This will slow down much of my projects, but should give me more time to post here about how things are progressing. As an example, I have gotten back into Ham Radio, as well as off grid communication. This includes building a solar array with over 100 amp hours of 12v lithium iron phosphate 4 batteries. We also got into chickens again, and even have a broody hen that just hatched a few on her own.

So the next year or so will be a lot of big changes in the home life, but as per norm, I will have all my hobbies.

Until next time,

Z

If you are not learning, you might as well be dead.
