Day of Ash: Thursday Treats

This is the face I have been waking up to for the last week. It is nice how he treats me in the morning. He just snuggles up and then waits for me to wake up before running off to Julie feeding everyone breakfast.

Our trip into work was a normal affair. No issues with traffic, and Ash slept the whole way in.

The morning meeting was not just slow, but boss man was unable to make the meeting. Which means I was able to get a picture of Ash under the conference table. When we get there, he helps me sit down, and then goes under the table with little to no command.

While I was working on a script, I took Ash’s pack off, knowing it would be awhile before we went anywhere. The marine asked if Ash could have a cashew, and when I said yes, Ash popped up and looked at me with the “I CAN!?” look. I said “Ok, go ahead.” and Ash ran over and laid down in front of the marine and waited.

That one cashew became a bunch of treats though, as Ash has to inspect everything he eats.

As it was really bright outside, I put Ash’s doggles on. He still isn’t fond of them, but he did pose for the picture. Sadly, my camera didn’t take it until he just started to shake his head.

When we got home, Ash again took my coffee thermos in to Julie, but then when he ran back to me I happened to have something else. One of the other co-workers was giving out some Valentines candies that one of the contract agencies brought in. So, Ash gave Julie a box of Sweethearts.

After dinner, Ash got a quick puppy fix, but then we went to bed. As I wanted to be asleep so I could wake up sooner and take Julie out to Deadpool and sushi for an early Valentines day.
