Day of Ash: So done.

Day of Ash: So done.

The morning was our normal. You can read past posts to figure that out. I’m being quick because I am tired. That and Ash is so done with this week and just wants to go to sleep. He is pestering me right now.

We got to work, and Ash watched a co-worker grab the papers and take them in not knowing Ash loved doing it. His response? He wooed at them. No joke. They didn’t notice, but the couple of other people just walking past us did. Which started the whole, “He’s so cute!!” conversation.

Then, for the most part, how you see him in the picture above was his morning. Laying on his cool mat and looking at me to make sure I didn’t leave him and that I didn’t need him.

Then came lunch. As it was on me to get my lunch today, as Julie didn’t pack one this time, I went across the street and got myself some of the worst processed food stuff I could. Hot dogs with chili and who knows what else. Ash helped me stand up, balance, and even listened when I said no to shaking.

The itchy ears are starting to cause him to shake more, but we are fixing that this weekend.

While packing to go home this afternoon, I handed Ash my hat not thinking anything of it. He lite up. I mean, tail was wagging, and he was all but floating as he walked. Which kind of sucks when I need him to counter balance a bit. Yet, I am doing better than yesterday, so I let it go.

When we hit my boss’s office to give the last update of what I did before leaving the building, Ash looked at him, hat in mouth, and I could see the boss try not to chuckle.

I let Ash carry the hat the whole way out to the car, including holding it against the wind we had pick up in the afternoon.

During the stop for gas, a child was waving at him from anther car. Ash loves kids. He can only eat one a day, but he loves them. No, wait, that’s not it. He loves kids, and wants to play with them. That’s what I meant.

At home, it was puppies again, but until he gets his bath and everything he is not allowed near the puppies. Just being safe.

Tomorrow is mail day, and if we are fast enough, bath day. Otherwise that will be Sunday.
