Day of Ash: Second week, but first Tuesday

As I have him put his feet up on the bumper so I don’t have to bend to put his pack on, he now uses it as a chance to snuggle. If I don’t hug him, he won’t put his feet back on ground without a second command.

I hobbled over to my new desk, leaving Ash at my current one. Again, he moved to where he can see me.

When I went to stand up, my back locked. Before I could even call him, he was on front of me in his brace position.

Co-worker was not only shocked, but now keeps asking how Ash knew I needed help.

After I was standing, as Ash didn’t have his pack or leash, I told him to go back. He ran back to where he was when watching me and laid down.

When I started to move, he looked back at his leash on the desk.

I may have a training opportunity, by having him grab his own leash before coming to my aid.

Yet, back to him just sleeping and being bored while I get some work done.
